Wow what a weekend! First stop was at The Garage Gallery Grand Opening. Seriously Trek, the curator for the art and music of the show, did a phenomenal job bringing together an eclectic mix of LA culture. It was such a pleasure hosting a Freedom Marie tie dye booth there! Suzzae, Treks other half and partner in crime was such a sweetheart as always. Thank you guys so much for letting Freedom Marie represent at your awesome event.
This is a great place to go to if your looking to experience a taste of LA Underground Culture of Art and Music. When first entering you walk through a maze like entrance featuring work from LA's most infamous artist. You are than lead on to the dance floor otherwise know as the black room where it features a sick ass geometrical tribal mural on one side of the room and on the other several glowing murals capturing the LA Underground Culture of music and art.
If you weren't able to make the Grand Opening don't worry The Garage Gallery will be hosting an event once a month. They have not announced what day it will be yet so stayed tuned. If you are an artist, DJ, performer, or vendor and are interested in being a part of The Garage Gallery contact them through The Garage Gallery Facebook Page.

So the second place we headed to was ReLove. This is also another goodie if your looking to experience some good old LA Underground Culture. Every other Sunday this takes place at a certain park in LA. Usually between 500-1000 people show up. Friends and family coming together to dance to house music and just celebrate life together.
This was the perfect place for Freedom Marie! We were able to get to the party festival goer's with some sick tie dye festival get up! I cleared out almost half of my stuff and am ready to replenish with some new designs.
Here's a little recap of last Sunday!
